Owners of small and medium-sized businesses have two primary objectives when setting up or converting a retirement plan: (1) they want a plan that meets the needs of the organization and its employees (and its owners, if possible), and (2) they want a compliant plan.
A Focus on Plan Administration Services
Unlike financial institutions offering only a bundled 401(k) Plan, providing administrative services in order to sell plan investments, Benetech is investment-neutral: we do not recommend or sell plan investments.
Customized and Simply-Put Design
Benetech’s approach is to make a retirement plan easy to present to the client. But that doesn’t mean we oversimplify or use a one-size, fits-all template: we believe that designing a proper plan takes a lot of listening up front, careful attention to detail and a process orientation that helps maintain consistent quality control.
A Partner for Every Financial Advisor
We gear our approach to meet the needs of each advisor and each plan. Some advisors’ businesses are heavily invested in retirement plans, and so they take keen interest in the technical aspects of plan design. Others may be less involved in the details of administering the plan and more focused on investment selection, asset allocation modeling or participant education.
We assign a Benetech-trained retirement specialist to each client relationship to serve as liaison between the advisor, plan provider and plan sponsor. We have found that our dedicated client service model vastly improves communication and client satisfaction.
